Hello everyone and welcome to Nick's Ride Guide. In this section we'll be listing a selection and overview of local rides and motorcycle related events. It's not our intention to provide every event out there but to simply list field proven events and rides that have been successful and entertaining and generally been a good time for all. Quality routes and rides are the target.
Check back often as we will be changing and updating the site regularly. Please e-mail us with your favourite routes and motorcycle events. I'll be happy to add all your favourites to this page and provide the motorcycle community with a fantastic tool and resource to make the most of our recreation. It's our hopes to make this page a cookbook like resource for a wide variation of rides and fun events for motorcyclists. I look forward to receiving your input and feedback.

This ride is being set up by a friend and regular visitor to Cycles 3:17. Lou Devuono has worked very hard to provide this amazing tribute to our fallen soldiers so it would be nice if a group of Riders could leave Cycles3:17 together to attend this ride. There is no registration fee for this ride.
**** The Ride To Remember ****
Hosted By The Canadian Army Veterans Motorcycle Units
Here is a ride that certainly deserves to be supported. It is important that while we show our support to our current troops who are gallantly serving our country , that we do not forget those many men and women who served in wars gone by and who now need our help to live their lives in the dignified manner that they so deserve. That is what the Tony Stacey Centre is all about, so if you can, please show them your support and gratitude.

Tony Stacey Centre
The not-for-profit Centre, named for Tony Stacey, the World War II Sergeant who with other veterans fought tirelessly to found the Centre, is located in Toronto and accepts veterans from across Canada. It is distinguished by the fact that it is the only veterans’ long term care facility that accepts non-serving spouses of veterans, non-overseas veterans, veterans of conflicts post Korea and peacekeepers.
Please join the Durham Divas for our Annual Fund raising ride. This year we have renamed the ride in honour of our founder Sylvia Spice; Sylvia's Ride 2009 (formerly known as Ride For Respite).
All proceeds will be donated to Luke's Place a Support & Resource Centre for Women and Children this year.
I have attached a few versions of the poster and flyers we have made. Print a copy and post it in your favourite place for all to see, like grocery stores, office lunch rooms, Community Centres etc; get the word out there.
We appreciate your support for this very worthy cause and look forward to having you ride with us on Sunday May 24th.
Diva Karen Reid
